Michael Nover began his musical career at the Jugendmusikschule Neuss and then studied saxophone as his main subject at the Hochschule für Musik, Rheinland in Düsseldorf. In 1990 he began an apprenticeship as a music dealer and at the same time attended the course in wind orchestra conducting at the Bundesakademie, Trossingen. In 1997 he began private studies with Pierre Kuijpers, Maastricht, majoring in conducting.

Under the abbreviation “MiMuFa” Michael Nover founded a new publishing house for wind orchestra literature in 2007. All editions are now included in your musicdatabase www.musicainfo.net. Among them are arrangements of works by Jacques Offenbach, Carl Teike, Franz Schubert, Georg Fürst and, for the anniversary year, of course by Ludwig van Beethoven, just to name a few.
