May 2019 – more than 170 new publications

Was it the cool May in Central Europe or were there other reasons for the numerous new publications of the month of May – nobody knows. In order to give you a better overview, these novelties are sorted below for the individual orchestra forms and instrument groups.

Starting with symphonic wind orchestra notes, about 100 new works were recorded. Of these about 60 for harmony music, 11 for fanfare orchestra, and more than 20 for brass bands. Additionally there are some works for small wind ensemble (Bohemian ensemble), and two works for young bands (school orchestra).

There are more than 20 new releases for string orchestras, all with easy to advanced levels of difficulty. Scores, sound samples, complete recordings, work descriptions and videos are also offered.

There are more than 30 new releases in the ensemble sheet music sector, ranging from string ensembles to saxophone groups, brass and alphorn groups.

Two works were recorded for choir, namely the Nunc Dimittis by Arvo Pärt (SATB acap.) and the What Child is This in the arrangement by David Willcock for solo voice, SATB choir and wind orchestra (opt. with organ or strings).

More than 50 new publications can be found in the category “educational and solo literature”. There is a collection of sheet music from guitar to ukulele, piano to organ, all kinds of string instruments and of course brass and woodwind instruments.
