An avalanche that everyone is happy about!

Tyrol, the land of mountains. Avalanches (in German: Lawinen) are commonplace and dangerous in winter. But there is one avalanche that everyone is happy about: THE BLECHLAWINE 2.0. This open air of brass music has enjoyed great popularity since the first event and friends from near and far flock to this event. From 26 to 29 May, the third edition of this event will now take place and numerous prominent and well-known orchestras will perform here, including Franz Posch and his Innbrüggler, Die Innsbrucker Böhmische, Viera Blech and another 30 ensembles and orchestras.

The wind band association Zillertal (Tyrol) created a feast for the eyes and ears with this music festival for everyone.The atmosphere at the “Waldfestplatz in Mayrhofen”, where the first brass band festivals were celebrated for over 50 years, is unique. On Thursday, 26 May, the Gebiergsdorfmusi from Gaming in Lower Austria will start at 1 pm. The schedule is strictly timed and the orchestra changes every hour.

For those who prefer to hike up the surrounding mountains and still want a musical treat, there is the “Musik am Berg”. Tanzlmusik at the Gschösswandhaus, Die Mühlbichler Musikanten and the 6er Blas play at the Kasermandlalm.
